No impact from the earthquake centered in the Hyuga Sea
On the evening of August 8, a magnitude (M) 7.1 earthquake centered in the Hyuga Sea occurred, causing damage mainly in Miyazaki Prefecture, and we would like to express our heartfelt sympathy to those affected by the earthquake.
Since last night, we have been inundated with inquiries from customers who have made reservations for our cruise, who are concerned about the effects of the earthquake. Of course, there is no damage to buildings or people, so please rest assured.
We are currently operating our vessels as usual, but in the unlikely event of another earthquake, we will follow the earthquake disaster prevention standards set forth in our Safety Management Regulations, and we will make safety our top priority. The captain and crew will continue to work together to ensure that our customers can board our vessels with peace of mind, and we look forward to your continued patronage.
